He looked at me with those twinkle in his eyes
For a moment I suspected he will smile
But his sad eyes were bare of all emotions
Which kept me thinking for a while,
I wanted to reach out to him
But the invisible wall stopped me,
I wanted to understand but the efforts were futile
Something that he wanted to show but I could not see,
So caught up I was in the realm of life
That I could not see the growing expanse
Now when I look back and reflect
It puts me in some kind of trance
Wish I could turn back the time
But wishes seldom come true
And I realize it’s not good to hold on
This feeling leaves me broken and blue
Broken between the mixed feelings
I stand there gazing at nothing
Upon realization I find myself alone in the crowd
I wipe my tears and smile that I learnt something worthwhile.
